A criação de uma carreira de Estado para o médico se tornou uma bandeira prioritária para o Conselho Federal de Medicina (CFM) e as outras entidades médicas nacionais – Associação Médica Brasileira (AMB) e Federação Nacional dos Médicos (Fenam). Para avançar solidamente no debate que deverá levar à implementação da proposta, acontece, em 8 de junho, um encontro com representantes de vários setores da sociedade.
Nomes importantes do Judiciário, do Ministério Público, da Câmara e do Senado já confirmaram presença no I Fórum sobre Carreira de Estado para Médicos.
Das discussões, podem sair sugestões que ajudarão a delinear de forma mais clara aspectos importantes para a proposta, como a forma de acesso, os critérios de seleção, as modalidades de progressão, entre outros.
No entanto, um consenso já existe: a criação da carreira de estado para o médico dá golpe único em dois problemas graves que afligem o funcionamento do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).
